Hero's Face Expressions

He was a very hard character to do facial expression for, because of his tough and serious personality, but he was also really fun to do because he had a lot of details such as his eye browns and wrinkles, this allowed me to play and explore more. I've decide to give a wide chin and strong cheek bones to achieve a strong look, while giving a big and sharp eye browns to help convey emotions. As you can see in the bottom middle, I've have decide to game him a child like face, this is because i wanted to show that even a though looking character like him can have a the innocents of a child given the right situation, in his case he is bouncing on a speech bubble.

I've just recently just finish my second draft, so far i have discussed my second draft with all my lecturers, and it seems the the fight scene was confusing and i need more shots, hopefully all these issues will be fixed in the third draft. Here is my second draft.

My main character design

Here is my main character design with some colours, as you can see i'v stuffed up the body porportion and didnt realised till later, also i am going to use the face on the left since its looks more toughter.

Below is a monster design i was thinking of using for my animation, the reason why i wanted to use this design was because the design is oppersite to my main character.



With this design i liked how the neck expands, but overall it would be too difficult
to animate.

Week 2-5 summary

Sorry i've been very forgetful lately and been forgeting to write summary.

Week 2

In week 2 I've finally finished my syopsis and treatment, And started my shot list. At first i had trouble with the ending but i talked it through with the lecturers and came up with a conclusion in the end.

Week 3

In week 3 i was able to finish of my first draft of my shot list, also i did some concept art for my characters. After showing my shot list to my lecturers they suggestested that ill add more shots and differant angles.

Week 4

In week 4, i was able to finish my final shot list, and start my first draft of my script. I couldnt do much more, because i had to finish off other assignments.

Week 5

In week 5, i got my first draft script done, and showed it to all my lecturers, now i just finish my second draft.
